Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Nexta ("Nexta," "we," "us") operates a platform that connects customers with independent, background-checked appliance-repair technicians. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or contacting us by phone, text, or WhatsApp, you agree to this Policy.
Who we are
Nexta is a technology platform. We facilitate scheduling and support and connect you with independent technicians; the technician performs the repair and sets the final price. We are not the repair provider.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide: name, phone number, address, and details about your appliance and the issue.
- Communications: messages, photos, and call or text content you send us.
- Usage & device data: collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity (for example, pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type).
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and match you with an appropriate technician.
- To schedule service, provide support, and improve our platform.
- To send you messages about your request, including by SMS/text where you have opted in.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
SMS / text messaging
If you call, text, or submit your phone number, you agree that we (and the technician assigned to your request) may contact you by phone and SMS about your service request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out of SMS does not remove your ability to reach us by phone. Mobile opt-in data is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Sharing your information
We share your request details with the independent technician assigned to you so they can perform the service. We use service providers (such as analytics and communications tools) that process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access or deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Analytics providers we use include Google (Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity.
Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
